Zermatt: 12 Hours Snowing And It's Still Going! |

The sun is trying to come through after heavy snow in the last 12 hours. and we're expecting more this week, both snow and sunshine that is.

Many of the higher lifts and runs have been shut and there's a high risk of avalanches down to 1600m, but looking good for the coming weeks as all the new snow starts to bond with the already extensive coverage.
The lower area's of Sunnega and Gronergrat are open though, but a little busier than normal, and big powder moguls forming on the pistes during the day.
