While the snow holds off for the week, Whistler is enjoying spring riding conditions in January! Beautiful sunny days have provided the perfect conditions for riding the resort's four terrain parks and are starting to reset the snow base in the upper alpine. Speaking of terrain parks, the XL (extra large) park on Blackcomb now has some super sized jumps to push your limits. If you can't hit them yourself just take a ride on Catskinner chair to get an aerial view of the action!
Be there early to carve up the freshly groomed runs down to the Red chair on Whistler or wait till the afternoon to butter around on the slushy lower runs on both hills.
So, enjoy the "springtime" while it lasts because by the weekend the snow will be on it's way and is forecast to stick around for some time!
