After a week of consistent snow, the riding here in Whistler is back in business! Town is buzzing with the holiday vibe and although lift lines can sometimes look busy in the Plaza, once you get up into the alpine there's always a lift somewhere you can ride without having to queue. Yesterday Jersey Cream and Glacier lifts on Blackcomb were ride straight on... and the runs up top were pretty quiet.
We've had some awesome powder days around Crystal and we even found some sneaky tree runs to play around in! With more snow on the way, Whistler's upper alpine areas are starting to open, it won't be long before riders can look forward to long runs down Peak to Creek and super sweet pow in Harmony and Symphony bowls. Here at Pro Ride we're pretty excited that it's almost time to hold our first backcountry jump day in a secret location on Blackcomb now the landings have all filled in.
Looks like the new year is set to be a snowy one!
