Davos may not be the prettiest town in the world but when it's under a 3ft blanket of gods finest cherry pow it looks a little like how I imagine the wrong side of heavens gates to look.......VERY INVITING INDEED!
By the 18th everything was open. Everything in Davos Klosters is a lot! We have 7, Seven, Sieban, sept, siete areas including Schatzalp that has reopened this year after 6 years of closure! Its a Free-ride haven but don't think that just anyone can ride there, cause they cant! You need a Graubunden pass.....and I'm not telling you what that is or how you get one!!!

Rinerhorn is forever quiet (dead actually) and offers the best piste and access to serious off piste descents. It's loaded right now with some amazing lines to be seen and had. Parsenn is fully open but the Boarder X track is not yet finished.
Last Snowfall was on the 19th. We've had a little wind so much of the perfect pow has been affected now, even the secret sports, making it a little dangerous to venture. Avalanch risk was today set at 3, 'considerable' which is up from yesterdays 2 'moderate'
Everything is well covered though so a little dump will go a long long way. Temperatures are set to rise however this week after a particulary cold spell (-25 on Sunday, Monday) This will likely increase avalanche risk again depending on snowfall this week.
More snow is set for Wednasday and the sun is out in force from Saturday!
Both super pipes are set to open this weekend on Jakobshorn with the park opening on Thursday/Friday.
All piste conditions are off the chart!
Queues are short and the bars are busy....it's going to be a great Xmas and NYE!!
