Here in Chamonix there has been a few celebrities spotted over the holiday period. |

 Chamonix hasn't seen any new snow for about 10 days now but that hasn't stopped the celebs coming to visit. Kylie Minogue was spotted riding on the Grands Montets area in Chamonix on new years eve and later out on the town with her new Spanish lad.
The conditions in the valley are holding up very well considering the lack of snowfall over the last 10 days. The temperatures are cold which is keeping the snow in top condition on piste with great groomers to be ridden all morning. By the afternoon things have been heating up just a little bit more and making the off piste snow good fun to have a few turns on.
The last snowfall was the 1st of January but the snow pack depths are holding up...190cm depth at top of Grands Montets with just over 80cm at mid station.
The snowpark at the Grands Montets has been up and running for a few weeks now and there is some good features to be sessioned including a few medium sized jumps a nice hip and a few box/rails. The park crew are working hard to build up some more snow to add some bigger sized jumps which hopefully should be built soon.
