| Had a 4 valley pass so thought I'd have a look at Thyon for one day. |

| Strengths |
It's part of the 4 Valleys (Verbier region) so if you get the full pass, there's a LOT of riding to do. But it's a long way from Verbier and probably not really possible to get over there from Thyon for a day's riding. If you can, try driving and parking in Siviez. That's just 2 quick lifts from the top of Mont Fort / Verbier.

Les Collons-Thyon 2000 is a skiers and boarders dream having great snow from November to April. Located at the end of the 4 valleys it benefits from one of the largest and highest ski regions in Europe with over 400 km of piste and over 100 ski lifts.
The ski area above Les Collons has fabulous wide sunny slopes perfect for all and includes one of the most famous ski slopes in the Alps, the fabulous piste de L'Ours. There are also large areas of off piste to explore and the billabong snow park at Thyon 2000. You can ski to Nendaz or Verbier, enjoy lunch and ski back in time for tea

| This is the really chilled side of the mountain with great restaurants and traditional Swiss feel. Its more Heidi that horay henri. |

| Hot Spots |
| Thyon has a great ski area which leads easily into the 4 Valleys system, this area is not so built up and really feels like part of the mountain |

| Weaknesses |
| Lifts, but there is a brand new high speed four man lift being built at present opening this Winter so will resolve the problem |
