Last year i was in need of a new board, my old Burton Custom 155 as good as it was, was getting thin on the base,soft in the flex and generaly worn out, bit like an old pair of boots, comfy but not able to keep you dry anymore. So i did a spot of research and read all the hype over bataleon which made complete sense to me as i am an engineer. Bought the Enemy+++ and rode it for a week in Switzerland (Bindings.. Flow NXT-AT's, boots.. Vans Contra)
My first impresion, when letting the board run flat it felt a little squirrely and a tad unerving but i soon realised the key is to relax and trust in the boards abbility, it wont catch an edge! Trust the squirrel !! The Enemy did everything i asked of it and more the harder i pushed it the harder it pushed me, we got on like a house on fire. Holds an edge like you wouldn't believe and transition from edge to edge is lightning fast, as is the out and out speed of the board (not for the faint hearted!!) In the air its light and you have to look down to make sure it hasn't dropped off!! Landings no problem, very forgiving of mistakes. All in all i was so impressed that i just bought a Bataleon Undisputed for 10/11, was torn between the two last year.
Not sure if i would recomend the Enemy+++ to intermediates you do have to ride fairley hard to fully appreiciate all it can do. Its a very stiff board but may be due to the TBT it didn't feel as stiff as i expected (so may be inter's would cope ok?)
Bataleon Enemy is in my opinion the dogs b******
Buy one, take that leap of faith!! You will be leaping all over the mountain with a smile as wide as mine : ) |

Fantastic edge hold even on hard icey sh*t. Tight turning no prob.

No edge catching (can if you really try but you do have to try!)

Great graphics. (looks expensive, got class)

| It is expensive but i find you dont allways get what you pay for but this board for me is worth every penny. |
