As a beginner snowboarder I wanted my own board to learn on rather than paying for a different hire board every time. I went for the Ride Solace that was categorised as beginner/intermediate. After getting more lessons on the solace I am really happy with my choice, it has good flexibility allowing easier control when learning turns and stops, but enough stiffness for a beginner. It is very light (even with bindings attached) again making it easier to control. As well as being a great board to ride it looks fantastic too. The pictures online don't do the graphics justice, it has exposed wood grain and coloured slimewalls. This board will allow me to advance my riding withought buying an intermediate board and has enough flex to take on freestyle and parks in the furture. Great board for the money. |
