| I bought these on the premise that the best will work well and will last. Sadly not so, they've been used for about 8 weeks, only prob in the first 5 was one broken lace, the very skinny fit around the calves and as mentioned in a previous review the buildup of snow in the lace section which then drips water into the boot. In the last 3 weeks of use I've had another lace go, then two of the eyehole runs have ripped clean out of the boot, finally one of the gripping points for holding the lace has loosened so it won't stay tight anymore. |

I wore these for most of the season in Switzerland and they were sweet at first. They looked good. They felt great. Nice inserts to prevent heel lift. Good lacing system. After 2 months of riding things started to go wrong. The soles peeled away from the uppers a bit which I didn't mind but then the laces broke and finally the plastic grooves for fastening the laces wore out so I couldn't tighten my boots anymore. That's just no good. Now I'm waiting for Burton to come good on their return policy... |

| Strengths |
| Very light, compact construction. Good grippy soles. Snug fit. Sweet look. |
|
| Weaknesses |
| The section on the top of your foot that seems designed to fill with snow and ice. Burton build quality which is good for holiday makers but not seasonnaires. |
