I got this board for £300 as I bought two (one foe a mate who wanted one) so got £100 off each. Heard rave reviews about it but was somewhat disappointed with the results. To be fair it was probably a little on the short side for me. I got the 158.5, I weigh 80 kg and am 5'9".
It washed out in the carve too much for my liking and to be honest I should have got a longer stiffer and wider board.
The base wasn't very fast, but it was very good in powder.
Also not the hardest wearing topsheet I've had.
Strengths
Good board for all day cruising.
Good all round 'everything' board.
Good in powder and for jibbing/switch riding.

Weaknesses
Too soft for carving (but me being too heavy for the size contributed to that)
Not a fast base, merely average.
Not very hardwearing topsheet, but base strength was ok.
Get a custom.

Floppy and pretty unstable and speed - I find it washes out in a hard carve.
Also I managed to break it - I now have a 6inch long crack in the top sheet behing the front binding.
I wouldn't recommend this as an all-mountain board for those of us who are a little bigger.
I weigh in at 100Kg and the 166 is just not stiff enough.
I'd imagine a 160 would make a great park board for the bigger lad, but come my refund I'll be looking to exchange for something way stiffer.

Edit: also found the board very slow on the glide - the base just ain't as quick as my previous Ride board.
Strengths
???
Weaknesses
floppy and unstable.
slow on cat tracks

I purchased an Anthem after reading the reviews and having a test ride.
I tested most of the other top of the range boards,e.g.,custom x,T6,K2 zep,Ride Timeless,No4.
Well let me tell yew,the Anthem was by far the best all round board, yes the Timeless carved like you wont belive, but was twitchy low speed,as was the T6 and No4.
What i found with the Anthem was it felt rock solid straight lining it(Val Thorens Glacier) in the morning, but also was easy enough to spin and ride switch on in the park, and not as unforgiving as the other top end boards.
It was just the best board i have ridden since my first nidecker in 1992!
Buy one!
Strengths
Fast as!
Edge hold.

I first rode this board 3yrs ago and loved it. However, at the time a full setup was required and a discounted board was sourced as a compromise.MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This board i first rode on New Years day in Andorra after a foot of fresh had fallen over night...it was perfect... float, positive turns, and speed.
Can only say i've ridden kickers in park and not really alot of rails so can't comment.. nice and solid
After riding the Anthem for a further 25 days this year in everything from fresh, to sketchy ice, to spring slush i'm nothing but impressed.I'm 6ft 1 / 80kg and this 161 WIll do it all and inspire to go that bit further and faster.
Strengths
Point to point perfection..
Great flex, not too stiff but holds an edge really well... never twitchy.
Weaknesses
Bit pricey
Topsheet could be tougher
