i needed a helmet because my motto on the slops are no "brains no headache" so i need something to keep my face pretty, i am not a fan of the goggle tan so i usually have a scarf over my face and tucked under my goggle but its hard to breath
when i seen this Ruroc RG-1 helmet my first thought where "wow this looks so coo"l. i purely only got it for the looks i did not even think about all the other advantages that come with the helmet
when i ordered my helmet few years ago the company took ages to send my helmet and phoning the only number they had no one was picking up but now the name Ruroc is getting bigger and stronger i believe the company are more efficient with orders and helping the customer
the helmet when i got it i could not be more happy with it. it sits on my head very conformable, because it a full face i don't have to where a scarf and worry about problems to breathing, i have never had my goggles steam up, with the design of it i have never felt too hot in my helmet the vents help to keep me cool
i had gone off a cliff on my board and landed rubbish but lucky i had my Ruroc helmet on as i did the biggest face pant in my life and i am sure if i did not have that helmet on i would course some damage to my good looks ;-) here is a video of it to see it. http://vimeo.com/21919515
i felt nothing with this hence the thumbs up
one other good thing about this helmet is that if your good at art you can custom paint your helmet i don't i keep my one black i look mean on the slops and the French skiers keep out my way
so for the price you getting a helmet and a set of goggles its a bargain in my eyes, am very happy with it and used it all the time from snowboarding, downhill mounting biking, and Halloween, |
