I did the Peak Leader's gap course in Saas Fee last autumn and it was awesome! Our coach Rob was excellent and really helped us all to get through our basi level 2. It feels like my snowboarding really progressed throughout the weeks and I was so stoked to pass at the end of the course. I had a wicked time..met some cool people, had time to ride the park a bit and some fun nights down at the Popcorn bar. It was a great time of the year to do it as it gives you the best opportunity and enough time to apply for a job the coming season. I definitively recommend this course and I think the autumn is the best time to do it! |

| I was in Saas Fee last autumn for the 8 week snowboard course. Had an amazing time and as well as successfully passing my BASI level 3 I really felt that my riding came on in all areas. Our coach Rob Norton for es-ride was amazing and really pushed our freestyle which ended up being way above the required level for everyone in the group. The best thing about doing the course pre season is that it hives youbthe best chance of getting a job sorted for the winter. I was lucky enough to find a job instructing in Zermatt which is an amazing resort and I had a great winter. I really feel that my career as a snowboard instructor is taking off! |

| Strengths |
Awesome coaching Best time of year for getting a job Great fun! |
|
| Weaknesses |
Slightly limited riding that time of year Probably more fun to do a PL course during the normal winter season |

| I did the Peak Leaders Argentina course and truly loved every minute. From the moment I landed in Argentina I knew it was going to be an amazing 9 weeks! The people were so friendly and proud, you felt they would do anything for you. The Peak Leaders team, which was made up of local Argentineans and Brits were amazing. The BASI trainers who came over the run the assessments were fantastic and my riding improved beyond my wildest dreams. The mountain where we trained (Cerro Catedral) was excellent, great park and plenty of powder days. The timing of the course was ideal for me - I managed to bag myself a job instructing for the Northern Hemisphere winter.... and haven't looked back! |
|
| Strengths |
Accomodation - We stayed in a beautiful hotel (El Retorno) Quality of training - including a full week of intensive training from BASI trainers The steaks! The culture - exceptional experience. The team out there - alway on hand to help you out. |
|
| Weaknesses |
That we had to leave after 9 weeks! If you are a vegetarian you might have some trouble with the food.... |
