Big variety of difficulties throughout the whole resort and the fact that you can travel through various slopes into three different towns without taking your foot off the board are definitely a strong points. Every time we went there conditions were pristine. There usually is a snowpark section with 3-4 massive (well at least for me) kickers and couple hi rails/rainbows/boxes to play with but also there's usually a beginner/intermediate snowpark section with pretty much jumps and boxes of any kind, shape and size. There's a lot of places where you can go off-piste along the actual groomed slope where you can go between threes, rocks and through powder without risking walking back on foot or injuring yourself.

People are very friendly around there and 99% of them speak very good English.

Also it's cheap as chips towards end of the season and there always been not too many people riding around so there was no queues to the lift or anything like that.
Loads of different slopes with massive difficulty range. Usually good weather. Cheap towards end of the season (March). Good snowpark. Friendly.
Hot Spots
Ponte di Legno/Temu slopes going through forest, Paradiso Glacier (although is rather steep and usually icy so I personally don't like it too much), decent Snowpark
Lack of night life in Tonale. Not much going on after lifts are off.

Th Tonale used to be just for beginners and people wanting to try Presena glacier, however from last season the resort is connected by a ski lift with Ponte di Legno which offers ones of the most difficult slopes around.

Region offers heli skiing - the best in this parts of Dolomites and quite a big selection of off piste boarding.
Great for groups of people with mixed abilities - beginners and advanced/experts
Hot Spots
Ponte di Legno is much better for nightlife and general going out, Tonale is a bit quiet.
