Th Tonale used to be just for beginners and people wanting to try Presena glacier, however from last season the resort is connected by a ski lift with Ponte di Legno which offers ones of the most difficult slopes around.
Region offers heli skiing - the best in this parts of Dolomites and quite a big selection of off piste boarding. |

| Ponte di Legno is much better for nightlife and general going out, Tonale is a bit quiet. |

| Good place to learn but with onlyone serious black it not the best if your a good skiers/boarder, ski school is freindly and fun with great english instructors. |
