Review Detail
This resort lacks it all and has it all, depending on your point of view. One of the key satellite villages of the 150km Espace Diamant.

France is well renowned for it's mega resorts, High altitude well inter connected ski areas that cater to the mass market, this is not that kind of place.

It has a low key more family orientated village feel about it rather than your typical French Ski station. If you want the best in Parks, Boarder cross courses, Lively night life or even other Brits to hang with and impress you will be severely disappointed.

Many of the easy slopes are too flat to Snowboard effectively on and there is a high proportion of drag lifts especially to get out of the village.

On the plus it has some great relatively safe but plenty steep enough offpiste that thanks to the low altitude has good visability even when it is snowing.

If you are an Intermediate or lower standard Snowboarder that want's flattering pistes combined with easy uphill transport and your idea of a fun evening is to run up a huge tab in the local clubs and bars talking sh*t you will hate this place.

If you are a strong intermediate or higher standard that doesn't bat an eyelid doing drags, has a passion for powder and doesn't care about "Nightlife". Get here at the last minute on a favourable forecast and get ready for some of the best lift serviced snowboarding you're likely to experience.
Strengths
Quiet, charming, cheap, You can buy passes by the hour so great for independent travelers that might only have a few hours on their arrival and departure days. relatively safe off-piste, Many tree lined slopes that offer good vis in bad weather. Lots of drags that deter muppets
Hot Spots
Not saying sorry
Weaknesses
Low altitude, not well linked to the other villages in the ski area. If your not happy doing drag lifts avoid this place at all costs.
