I bought these boots to replace a pair of Burton Moto's id used for the previous year as I was having qutie bad foot/lower leg pain. I chose the Legends purely because of all the boots I tried on at Ellis Brigham that day, they fit the best.

I used them for two weeks away in Bulgaria and a fair whack of indoor slope use between.

The last time I used them away, the bindings on the rental board I used wore a hole in the outer layer, but they are still very useable. I don't think this is a slight on the boots, more a positive that they still held up under that punishment from the bindings and didnt let any water through. No more rental boards for me!
These boots fit my feet excellently and feel great. Most of the soreness I experienced with my previous boots disappeared instantly.

The boots feel very solid, I couldn't be happier with that aspect of them.

The SL lacing system is good, easier than standard laces but not as easy as BOA systems. They allow tightening of the upper/lower boot separately and do this very well - possibly the best of both worlds? - probably not, but its a good system.
The Plastic pulley attached to the lace has become a bit worn where the lace attaches so the lace sometimes becomes dethatched. This can be fixed by cutting the knot off, taking the pulley apart, threading the lace through and re-knotting it. I contacted Northwave for a replacement pulley but had no response.

Because of this, the boots are still useable, however I am considering replacing them when going away next winter, after only one years casual riding its not really solid enough.

So the boots are great and the lacing system is ok. If the lacing system was a bit more robust i'd have given it a 5/5

Super Comfy Boots - which for me is difficult to find as I have wide feet with narrow ankles and a high arch. I have tried many many boots and these are one of the few that fit.

Quite padded on the base so you can stomp big kickers, but no so thick you feel disconnected.

SL Lacing system is pretty good, though sometimes after the first run you need to re-tighten them.

Had one small problem with a little bit of plastic coming off that holds the lever down, so the sl laces won't clip into the undone position, but this is more of an annoyance than anything else.

Also after 3/4 weeks, one of the laces snapped, but Northwave gave me some free one's.
Super Comfy
Well Padded for harsh landings
SL Lacing System is quick and easy to use
SL Lacing system - laces could be thicker and plastic that holds the lever in the open position is fragile
