I have been having lessons with Mint (both Tammy and Adam) for the last couple of years and can honestly say they are a main contributing factor to my love of the sport. Both instructors have a natural teaching ability which allows them to teach technical aspects in a fun and totally unique style different to any other instructor I’ve had before or since. For me the sign of a good teacher is to be able to adapt information to suit the individual and Tammy has the imagination and intuition to know when to tailor her instructions to suit.
I’ve had a couple of weeks snowboarding before going to Morzine and having lessons with Mint. My first lesson with Adam definitely helped build my confidence in dealing with traffic on the piste and getting to grips with confident turning. Since then Mint have guided me through my first adventures in powder riding and a bit of park action- no mean feat considering my personal confidence levels. Tammy and Adam remain patient and supportive with just the right amount of encouragement always ready to back up their instruction with technical knowhow and plenty of fun.
My brother, who is a much more experienced snowboarder than me, has also had lessons with both Tammy and Adam and has become a technically better rider with a few new cheeky tricks up his sleeve.
I may not be the most natural snowboarder but I’m a hell of a lot better and enjoy it so much more because of the abilities and tools the Mint guys have given me.

| I have had lessons with Tammy from Mint over 2 weeks that I have had with the Just 4 Girls camps. The whole set up was better than I could have expected (hence 2nd visit with more to come) and the lesson time I spent with Tammy and Adam was productive, imformative and fun. These guys are about the 6th instructors i've been with in my time and by far the best, would find it hard to imagine better. |
