Strubske Pleso : The resort itself is stunning, people are friendly but distinct lack of English you have to get your phase books out. Although saying that there is an excellent English speaking ski / board school "eXski".
Resort has three runs of varing technical levels. Off piste is good in season. The actual season runs from early December through til as late as May in good years. Though the best time to go is late January through to mid March.
The price above is for plane ticket, accomedation, lift pass and transfers for 10 days!!! hard to beat. The food and drink (and fags) are stupidly cheap and good quality.
Although this isn't the biggest resort in the Tatras, it's well worth a look, great for beginners and more advanced riders!! |
