Searching for a helmet that would fit my (huuge) head the shop came up with this one. Lightweight, compatible with audio gear according to specs (never tried that bit). I have a metallic grey version. Earpads can be removed, piece at the back can be removed (for a ponytail). And it has ventilation holes in the top that can be opened.
Strengths
Versatile, lightweight enough that it is no bother to wear it all day, good fit (for me) and it does give me the idea that I am protected should I fall.
Weaknesses
None I noticed

I love my Giro 9. I have used it in every possible condition and I continues to impress me. The padding can be removed easily, it's light weight and continues to save me from wrecking myself day in and day out. Fits Awesome with goggles! I love it.. my fave helmet so far.
Strengths
Nice and light, lots of availible colors. Chinstrap is easy to adust and comfortable. Fits great with goggles.
Weaknesses
If it doesn't fit your head just right.. it can feel fairly uncomfortable.

A real comfortable lid. its so light that you forget youre wearing it.

After knocking myself out a couple of times thought id better purchase a lid and this one seemed to fit me best of all.

Vents can be blocked off with bungs but ive since lost one and gaffer tape it from the inside.

Goggles are retained by a strap holder on the back of the helmet which works very well.

Even though its light and comfortable i prefere wearing a beanie but i do wear it at my local dry slope, after all its the dry slope where i knocked myself out!

overall a top lid, highly recommended.
Strengths
light, comfortable, well vented
Weaknesses
Cant find anyone that sells spare vent bungs.

It was only after being out in Canada last winter and finding that myself and my wife were the only two people in the group who were not using helmets that i really decided to purchase one.
I did not set out to buy this helmet but after trying quite a few on i found it to be the best fit. It is also very light and is comfortable to wear with good ventilation. The inside padding can be removed to wash.
The ear protectors are also removable and this is a good point for spring or warm weather riding.
Strengths
Lightweight and comfortable.
Good ventilation.
Weaknesses
Need to find extra room to pack the thing on my trips...
