| Review Detail |
If you need a reasonably priced, soft flexing binding as a beginner, then you won't go far wrong with the Burton Freestyle. I found that they suited the board set-up I had [see my review of 09/10 Burton Hate] just right, if jibbing and park riding was your thing. Enough flex and feel so you could easily move the board around underneath you whilst you FS/BoardSlide a down rail. Fairly well made, as I had no problems with my bindings, although I wouldn't be 100% sure that the buckles and straps would stand up to a full season of use, if you were hammering the park everyday. Enough adjustment though so you could get them set up just right. |

| Strengths |
| Perfect for jibbers who need a soft-flexing binding so they can poke out. |
|
| Weaknesses |
| Didn't give a massive amount of confidence when going off even reasonably sized kickers and struggled for feel when the speed built-up. I felt they could have done with a footbed on them as well for a bit more 'bang' absorption. |
