After a few heavy fall I decided I needed some wrist guards
I decided on the flexmeter after reading the article below
http://www.ski-injury.com/wrist.htm
The guard is slim but long, it goes further up my arm than any other wrist guard I have seen
and it is help in place by three straps
Strengths
great support, have had a few big falls but no wrist injuries yet
Weaknesses
does take a bit of fiddling to get my gloves over them
no padding on inside of wrist - only on the outside

Looked at lots of wrist guards and bought the best in my opinion.

Much larger than any other wrist guard so gives more support as the guard goes further up your forearm so spreading the impact more.

Worth the money.
Strengths
Very comfortable and you can really feel the added support.
Weaknesses
The straps do work loose and although this is not really a problem I have seen updated ones with a clip strap.
