I'd needed a new bag for a while as my old Dakine was fairly well shredded by the Airport-Elves (by the way, thanks for nicking all my screw-gate crabs guys!). However, so many wheelie-bags were either too spendy, or too small.
Then I found this Dudb Weather brand bag. This is a good bag because it will hold both my boards with binding attached. There's still loads of space for boots (removable bag), full kit. A few nice pockets which I can put wax, files, etc in and they don't get smashed up. It drags around nicely, the wheels are big so it copes with small steps etc with ease.
I am concerned about my gear and bag getting trasked. However this one looks to be standing up well. It has strong plastic "rails" outside and these protect it well. There's also internal and external compression straps and these were nice because all my stuff was where I put it! It's nicely padded and my boards no longer need pipe-insulation to protect their edges. The zips stand up to being stretched and hammered (sometimes I've ound zips to be too weak for the product or how I use it) these zips are quite chunky and makde of metal. |
