Review Detail
We booked this chalet for a lads week away on the snow knowing that we all wanted the full chalet experience, as a mixed group ability wise alot of the guys were keen to get a little instruction over the week and so this place looked ideal with the inclusive instruction and great price. The chalet looked great on the website but i was a little nervous as the price was pretty low for what we were getting...

Anyway, we all got the Eurostar overnight on the friday so we could squeeze 8 days out of our trip, from our arrival at 5.30 am it was clear that Drew and Lisa new how to make their guests welcome, they did everything they possibly could to make our entire holiday a fantastic experience including picking us up at an ungodly hour in the morning and allowing us to stash our stuff whilst the current guests were still asleep so we could make the most of our extra days.

The chalet itself was well appointed, only 2 rooms shared a bathroom, all the others were ensuite. Inside it was clean and uncluttered whilst still retaining it's savoyard charm, the open plan living/dining area was easily big enough for all of the guests (there were 2 others staying as well as us which made it a full chalet) and there were plenty of vids, games and consoles etc... to keep us occupied. only real quibble would have been the beds which were pretty small. The chalet was located in a tiny village called La Gittaz wjhich was about 2 stops from merobel centre on the free bus and about 20 mins walk back from there, although we never did. Every day Drew of Lisa would drop us off and pick us up from the slopes.

The food was probably our favourite feature, Drew spent some time training as a chef and it showed, although lisa's afternoon cakes were fantastic too. Each meal was wonderful and very different from the last, it was really great to not just have a load of traditional dishes trotted out night after night but instead traditional food was interspersed with curries, english roasts and italian inspired food. getting a hot option each morning was also a bonus too.

Drew's instruction was top notch, he made it fun and engaging and everyone felt that they had really improved by the end of the week. it was also great to get some guiding around the area as well, having been out there for 9 seasons he certainly knows the 3 vallees well!

Drew and Lisa were amazingly helpful and sorted pretty much everything out for us including having passes ready etc... They were also a fantastic laugh. We're all definately up for a return next year, it looks like they'll be upgrading and moving to a bigger chalet closer to Meribel next year which sounds great too.

All round great holiday, would highly recommend them!
