Review Detail
This resort is relatively small, limited local runs and quiet but it's kind of alluring!

It’s in a steep valley and is the oldest Italian resort so it’s cute and quite dramatic.

There’s lots of deep stuff in the trees just off piste and there’s huge scope for long days out with links all over the milky way. Problem is, they really are long days out! It takes ages to get over to Sestriere (past the amazing Olympic luge run) and even longer to get back. And there’s the curse of the many older resorts – you struggle to get anywhere without going on a long drag at some point. The last drag up to get back to Claviere valley (from Monte Della Luna) is short but particularly steep - ok if you are experienced but there were a lot of learners that were terrified!).

It is linked with Montgenevre which is a nice little resort. Lots of long high runs and even more deep stuff potential. Not pretty but great boarding. And you can just about get back along the long, flat path if you gun it!
Strengths
Pretty, linked to Montgenevre, links to the rest of the Milky Way (though it takes a long time!)
Hot Spots
Side of piste tree runs and deeps, great long reds with interesting stuff just off piste in Mongenevre
Weaknesses
Quiet, need a few more chairs, very limited board parks
