March 06 i was in the position of being able to go on a third trip of the season and for 10 days it needed to be cheap.After remembering staying in Brev a few years previously and loosing some nights in the Underground bar, a quick internet search found the details of The Chardon.
Now, if you want hot tubs, plasmas and xbox type sh*te ensuite, don't book here.If you want to go riding Espace Killy on a budget read on.
Tignes, Les Brevieres is located on the edge of this ski domain down below the dam and is a quiet village with a local Sherpa shop, couple of cafe bars and restaurent.The actual 'chalet' is above a ski shop on the main street .Now its basic but all you need.. bunks in shared sometime mixed sex rooms :) with a shower between 4 or 5.
I got cheap flight to Geneva, onto local bus outside and just rocked up. . sweet. |
