| Review Detail |
If you are a total park slayer then this is the board for you. I had been riding a traditional camber board before this one so I wasn't sure how I'd adapt to the reverse camber [Mr Burton's V-Rocker tech]. But I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this board was to ride, even on packed, icy cordurouy.
Of course it's meant for boxes, rails, pipes and any other park furniture you can throw at it and this is where it really comes into it's own. If you catch an edge when riding this puppy, then give up and start skiing instead, you muppet !
The Burton Hate had plenty of soft flex and feel to it, meaning you could hit anything and be assured that you would get off safely without getting a mouth full of metal. |

| Strengths |
| Soft, forgiving, easy to throw around on small kickers. |
|
| Weaknesses |
| It wouldn't win any speed competitions, in-fact it was a bit 'hairy' when you were pressing on. I don't think the base can handle a lot of punishment without needing to be repaired often, which is a bit odd for a "park specific" board. |
