Tea Room presents Bread & Butter - a free DVD with Whitelines Magazine.
Finally got round to watching this free offering from the Brit riders collective, featuring Greenshields, Chatt, Gunn, Revill, Kern, Chorlton to name but a few.
Can't recall watching it when it first dropped through the door with Whitelines, but just stuck it on for some inspiration whilst off work with Flu - and I'm rather impressed to be fair. A superb effort from all involved. Kicking variable soundtrack - everything from electronica dance to rock and hip hop - a good balance of Park, Mountain and general tom foolery - very similar to some of the Lockdown projects films - I guess the British sense of humor comes through.
Filmed on location in Mayrhofen, Morzine, Bear Mtn, Tahoe, Squaw Valley, Northstar, Mammoth, Laax and Breckenridge. The film offers a really good insight into riding standards and fashion in 2008/9 - well worth a watch, just for the soundtrack if nothing else. Shame that there's not more women involved tho.
The riding is of a very high standard and cinematography is equally imaginative - good use of the camera and shot grabbing. Excellent work. |
