Just come back from this camp - totally recommend it! Had a such a friendly and relaxed crowd inc Andy & Heather (chalet hosts) who are super nice and came boarding with us. Brilliant food and spacious accomodation inc hot tub - A-mazing. Cab9 were a lot of fun, pushed us hard and got us nailing the 180s and riding all the boxes plus 1:5 instructer:boarder ratio which made all the difference particularly as there were a few different levels and people aspiring for different things.

Meribel have contracted the park out to DC (check out DC shred days 2012 for a gander of the park). The park is now beautifully kept with plenty of blue boxes and kickers to learn on plus loads of red and black lines - no one would be bored here, there is a lot to hit. I've been to Meribel quite a few times but with Cab9 you get taken to different areas and combined with the new park it felt like I hadnt been there for ages.

I havent been on any other camps so havent got anything to compare this to but think I struck gold because it was everything I was looking for. A relaxed atmosphere at the chalet with plenty of food and booze and some snowboard videos, a big bath, hot tub and comfy bed much needed after a hard day out.
Andy and Heather coming out with us and kindly taking pictures.
Free transfer from Moutiers train station.
Grade A instruction from Cab9.
Attracted an ace crowd of boarders - some hilarious moments.
Generally brilliant hospitality.
Could introduce some video analysis half way through the week.
Thats it!

We have just returned from a fantastic weeks snowboarding in Meribel, staying at Chalet St Joseph with Alpine Ethos, doing the Snowboarding camp with Cab9. Well what can I say, as this was our first experience of a Chalet the whole set up was fantastic, waking up to an excellent breakfast with transfers arranged from the Chalet to the slopes (although it’s easy enough to make your own way with the free bus service or cable car), then spending the day on the slopes with Cab9 only to get picked up again the end of the day to enjoy a Jacuzzi and sauna while recovering briefly from the bruises before the next day of boarding. The meals and home made cakes were delicious, and the facilities in our apartment included a TV, DVD player and Wii and the Chalet was only round the corner from the local pub so no excuses to get bored. A big thank you to Heather, Andy and Justin for making our stay and experience so enjoyable, we will be definitely be back next year.

The Cab9 snowboarding camp was fantastic, our boarding has all improved so much, although I am still recovering from the bruises! It was our first week on a mountain and very different from the indoor snow dome that we had all been used to, but with Jono and Lee’s instruction it was brilliant to see how our techniques and confidence has improved, a big thank you to you both, we will keep practicing so we can return next year with the perfected 180!
Arranged transfers and lift passes
Excellent home cooked food

Ok firstly I would like to thank the staff at both alpine ethos and cab 9 for one of the most amazing experience.
As a beginner with about 2 trips a month to the local fridge over the last year I wanted to look at a freestyle camp, so after much deliberation I choose Alpine ethos as it offered accommodation, including food with coaching with the added bonus of the three valleys scenery.
Transfers were provided at a very reasonable cost from Geneva with some companies quoting double the price and more.
The accommodation was exceptional with myself having a full suite of the chalet which included bedroom, kitchen and living space with the most unbelievable views from the balcony. Each living space has its own wii, Tv,dvd and Ipod dock to relax with. The rooms were cleaned daily with complimentary toiletries.
The whole chalet was nothing short of a euro millions winners dream come true! The 18 space mansion of a chalet also has a brilliant sauna and Jacuzzi which was needed to sort my aching bod out!
A mini bus service was provide daily as the chalet is situated just outside the hustle and bustle of Meribel so you had the nice option of the messy night life if you wanted. Personally I was too done in from the boarding camp but some guys partied hard into the wee hours and still managed to be up for the camps!!
Oh yeh the boot drying room comes in handy as well so all your gear is ready to go for the morning..
Meribel is quite expensive but along with the other valleys and guaranteed snow its probably worth paying the premium over other resorts. They have reservoirs everywhere and purpose built cannons into the pistes for snow shy days..
The accommodation provides breakfast, afternoon cake/snack and dinner. Let me tell you the catering was nothing short exceptional, it provides a social setting and also quality which could be found in most restaurants. The menu changed daily but guests were catered for on an individual basis if they required something special, personally I’ll eat anything so it was all good for me!! Oh and jugs of beer on tap and bottles of white and red…It would be rude not to I guess.
So for the camp..
Lee and Jono with Cab9 took the guys who were split into two levels beginners and intermediates. I was in the beginners group with a couple of guys and girls, we worked on technique around carving which coming from the fridge is pretty different on the mountain. Jono was great, really patient and give personal direction. We looked at some flat land tricks and some buttery stuff…Jono is the shiz proper tekkers!!
We merged groups when we went into the park and worked a bit with Lee. It was nice for a change of instructors to get a different perspective; Lee was very methodical and gives personal direction to improve technique.
We played in the park covering boxes and kickers, we all had a go of the blue kickers some more successful than others lol..
By the end of the week I had done double as many hours boarding than in the last year of the dome, If I aren’t a better rider now I never will be,,,just by the end of the week I had run out of anti inflammatory for my battered and bruised body!!
The added bonus of using Cab9 was we never had to wait in any queue as we were part of a school, and as a newbie to the mountain we all got instruction and direction of the lifts and the best pistes to board on.
The guys were top notch and really know their snowboarding, they live it…
All this for £500 quid….been a tight northern tw*t it was like all my dreams had come true!

Andy & Heather – massive thank you….See you next year
Hospitality along with the food was amazing.
Andy's wit!
Transfers from the airport including daily trips to the lift and collection.
Chalet including sauna and jacuzzi and exceptional comfort
Im picking to be honest but naked women every night dancing around the fire would have been nice but never mind!
the only real downside in the chalet was sketchy internet access, although Heather got on the phone to Orange and got it sorted..O2's the way forward I think!

My first time away with a camp so I dont have any other intruction other than Snozone to compare it too. But the guy's with Cab9 were exceptionally talented and gave great personal instruction.

I've had plenty experience in catered accomodation, Andy, Heatherand Justin are a great team and provide nothing short of a 5 star service.
