Description
One of the best snowboarding games on any platform, 1080 Snowboarding faithfully recreates the mountain experience with beautiful graphics, realistic character and environment physics, atmospheric sound effects, and addictive gameplay. Players compete on a variety of unique tracks ranging from a half-pipe and long jump--both devoted to trick-happy boarders--to long descents that offer plenty of environmental obstacles, including jumps, deep powder, ice, and thick stands of trees. On several tracks, simply reaching the bottom of the hill is an accomplishment in itself.

Review Detail
Well, I thought I'd be the first to review this game.
What can I say, well, it's of a similar ilk to the N64 version, but much better.

It plays like a dream, and you really get a sense of tearing down the slopes. The courses look fantastic, and are really well thought out. The rumble feedback from the controller, really adds that extra feeling of struggling to dig an edge in, and dare I say it, lends that little sense of realism to the game. I've had many a sweaty palm playing this game on Match Race mode on the Extreme settings.

I've played SSX Tricky 3, on the X-Box, and 1080 pisses over it, in terms of believable and realistic handling, and sense of gravity when going down the slopes. The graphics are also beautiful, in comparison to SSX Tricky, with nice little touches, such as animals legging it towards you, snow sticking to your clothes, weather conditions, etc.
Strengths
Playability
Good graphics
Targets to unlock extra features gives the game longevity, and tests your skills.
Weaknesses
A little too easy, until the Extreme levels
Could do with more runs
