Rachael's
Trip to Brides les Bains: Pronounced "Breed La Ban" not as I thought, Brides (as in marriage) Les (as in Battersby) and Bains (as in Pains but with a "B").
The website for Brides Les Bains promises "guaranteed snow", "inexpensive skiing holiday" and "the largest ski area in the world". These are pretty big claims to live up to so when I saw a thread on the GB forum for a week long escapade I was signed up before you could say shredalious! Read more

| Winter Olympics round up: Unless you've had your head buried in the snow - you lucky devil - you will have been glued to your telly over the last few weeks watching the Winter Olympics.We had four budding UK snowboarders competing: Zoe Gillings, Lesley McKenna, Adam McLeish and Ben Kilner. ISPO: I was lucky enough to fly out to Munich for the annual trade show that is ISPO. 15 halls each about the size of the Metro all full of the biggest brands, newest products and hottest gear for 2011. We are hoping to have some previews for you soon so keep your eyes peeled
