X2 Games have announced popular snowboarding game X2 Snowboarding BASE is coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch. |

The app will be a new way to try the critically acclaimed X2 Snowboarding game.
Substantially different from the X2 Snowboarding School demo and the full-priced X2 Snowboarding, the BASE version features the same slope-shredding, console-quality action of its stable mates in a bite-sized form, with in-game downloads available so players have the opportunity to expand on the free-to-play content as they see fit.
On download from the App store, the game offers two tracks, two characters and two board designs from the full version and supports multiplayer over Bluetooth and WiFi. In-game purchases, which start from 59p, will be available from the in-game shop, which includes four additional packs hiding a new character, course and two snowboards.
Des Gayle, producer at the company, comments:
