The snow playground at 3,100 metres above sea level scored another eight weeks with sunshine, absolute snow safety and a versatile set up in perfect shape.
At the beginning of the Spring Sessions, some of the Moreboards team riders visited the Stubai Zoo, having a nice riding and photo session in the park.
In April, Forum snowboards, Libtech and Gnu brought the products of the upcoming season up to the Stubai Glacier, giving many riders the chance to take advantage of free hardware and check out the brand new stuff before it is available in the shops.
Perhaps the highlight of the Spring Sessions 2011 was the Stubai Jam on April 8th. All participating riders had a go at the different jib obstacles and kickers, and tons of prizes from Quiksilver and other sponsors were won. Check out the video below to see some of the highlights.
The Stubai snow park will take a well-deserved break for the summer, before it opens up again just in time for the Moreboards Stubai Premiere 2011 on the 21st – 23rd October.
