Jamie Nicholls, from the UK, finished just two points away from the podium and ended up taking 4th place.
The winner of the season’s first big air contest was Finnish Janne Korpi. The event took place right next to Battersea Power Station and managed to attract 17,000 spectators.
Korpi managed to rack up an impressive 184 points from a possible 200; and won the event after already wining the first halfpipe World Cup at the season's opening in New Zealand.
The champion managed to see off last Belgian Seppe Smits, who finished close behind in second, and Joris Ouwerkerk in third.
Winning his second freestyle event of the winter, Korpi has gotten himself in a good position for the overall World Cup title for the best freestyle snowboarder of this winter.
