Tokyo to host world's first Burton Rail Days competition

Tokyo will be hosting a brand new rail competition that will feature the largest rail ever created for a Tokyo snowboard event.
The event is called Burton Rail Days and looks set to be an awesome showcase of street rail snowboarding.

It takes place in just a few weeks on Saturday 19th November and kicks off at 5pm. The competition will be staged at the Roppongi Hills Arena, in Tokyo and will feature 16 top invited riders.

The competitors will be challenging for their share of a $15,000 prize potand you can go along and watch for FREE!

Presented by MINI, this is the world’s first Burton Rail Days event and spectators will be able to see some amazing riders including Kotaro Kamimura, Stevie Bell, Dylan Alito, Zac Marben, Ethan Deiss, and Forest Bailey.

The Burton Rail Days course has been built by the world’s leading snow park and halfpipe designers, Snow Park technologies. It is designed to look like a real street corner and will be complete with street lamps, stairs, handrails, a brick façade and a mailbox. There is also a quarterpipe at the top of the stair set for riders to drop in from.
