The huge amounts of snow in December and January and the uber-cold temperatures in February has meant for incredible conditions for the park shapers of Meribel to put together 2 of the best parks we've seen in the 3 Valleys. The Moon Park in Meribel is still a Meribel institution but new this season is the DC AREA 43 on the site of the old Mottaret Snow Park. Created and shaped by skateboard/snowboard brand DC it comprises a super pipe, loads of boxes and rails for all abilities as well as various kickers and massive air jumps. Check out some of these photos. As you can see the skies were blue in Meribel earlier on this week (Tuesday) and with snow yesterday and more in the forecast conditions continue to exceed all expectations. |
