| Enjoy the endless winter! – That’s the current slogan at Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Park in the Salzbur region of Austria, located on the glacier at almost 3000m, just below the peak of the mountain. |

The park is now open making it possible for shredders to tear it up into June!
After most parks in the Alps retire for the off-season the freestyle action now continues in higher altitudes at Kitzsteinhorn.
Since the Superpipe and Central Park in the resort have been given a well-deserved rest for the summer boarders at the Glacier Park can now take advantage of the rails, boxes and kickers on offer.
Kitzsteinhorn’s park designer Stefan Plattner is convinced about the qualities of the Glacier Park: “This setup is the result of a successful collaboration between shape crew, locals and pros.
“Our goal was to build a park, which on the one hand is a perfect playground for each riding level, but which also offers the possibility to have as many versatile lines as possible per day.
“You won’t get bored in our park, that’s for sure. And even if our kickers are not the absolute biggest ones, they are definitely the ones which are groomed best!”
And here is a video of the park in action.
