So the registration is open for the 13th Burton European Open and it shuts on November 28th. That means there is still time for all of you potential competitors to try and register your place.
The event, which is in Laax from January 7th – 14th is offering all snowboarders the chance to register to compete in Europe’s most prestigious snowboard competition.

You can register at www.opensnowboarding.com and there are 460 open slots in halfpipe and slopestyle up for grabs. You think you have what it takes to go all the way? Then get applying my friend.

If you can make it through the pre-qualifiers and the qualifiers then you will have the chance to try and win some of the $125,000 prize money. You can also win points towards the TTR and Burton Global Open Series ranking lists.

You can also compete for the second generation of the Creative Use of Space Award, presented by MINI. This season’s Creative Use of Space (CUOS) Award once again draws on the MINI philosophy of utilizing space intelligently.
The prize money for the CUOS award will be handed to the female and the male who manage to land the most progressive tricks in the halfpipe and the slopestyle competitions at the Burton European Open.

Also the resort that builds the most creative CUOS slopestyle feature during the Burton Global Open Series will win $5,000.

One reason why riders around the world love to compete at the Burton European Open is because it is a truly open event where up-and-coming snowboarders have the chance to launch their careers into orbit.
So, get online and get applying for your chance at the big time!
