The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) have announced a 'memorandum of understanding'.
The historic agreement to cooperate during the 2010-2011 season and beyond will see a renewed focus to develop the sport of Para-Snowboard.

The MoU will streamline a range of factors relating to the sport, including management, competition coordination, development and certification of officials.

The agreement will also see the two organisations carry out a fresh approach to media and communications as they look to promote the event for future winter games.

Although the deal has only been struck for the forthcoming season, it includes an option to extend the MoU beyond 2014.
