Care about the environment, but not going to let that get in the way of a good snowboard holiday? With the launch of muchbetteradventures.com, there might finally be an answer that lets snowboarders float through the powder with a clearer conscience.

This brand new site puts you in direct contact (that means no commission) with chalets and lodges handpicked because they will deliver you an awesome holiday, and also do everything they can to minimise their environmental and social impact. It is still early days, but this winter you will be able to rip it up guilt-free in Chamonix, Les Arc, La Plagne, Samoens, Meribel , Morzine, Les Gets and La Clusaz. Alex and Ed, the founders, are riding out in Morzine/Avoriaz this winter, and expect to have plenty more options onboard before the snow starts to fall. They also bring you a guide to the greener ski resorts around the world and the resources you need to book a low carbon journey out to them.
It doesn’t end there either. They are already working on a much better snow shop, which will bring you the boards, clothing and accessories you need to perform stylishly and sustainably. When the time comes to put your board away for another summer, the much better adventure continues. The site caters for every other adventure sport you can think of, from surfing to climbing, kayaking to trekking, and brings support to a growing number of important conservation and sustainable development projects around the world.
You want to be carving freshies for years to come don’t you? Well then maybe it is time to start having muchbetter adventures…
