| The start of the season has been pretty rad. I live in Morzine and there has been so much snow! I think so far I have had 2 days in the park since the season started. Feels quite refreshing to blast some pow after last years severe lack of snow! |

On opening weekend I did a 3 star TTR comp called Ticket to Oslo in Avoriaz where I came 4th and the weekend just gone I did another 3 star called The Ladies First Challenge in Thyon where I came 5th. The Ladies First is a series of comps and top 5 from each comp go through to the final in Leysin on 24th March so I was pretty stoked to qualify for that despite the lack of park time.
My one proper park day I headed over to Les Croset which is just into Switzerland on the back of Avoriaz. The jumps there were super fun but like riding trails they were so close together! I had a amazing day, bluebird skies and riding with Lewis Sonvico and Ashley Edwards. I mananged to land some back 5s and front 7s but ended the day catching my toe edge and breaking my nose. Stoked! Such a good day though.
I am also in the process of going through my BASI qualifications and have just booked my Level 3 courses for April. I was pretty stoked to find out that Westbeach are also supporting the snowboard BASI staff this year.
There are a couple of edits out that you can check out. There is one of the Westbeach team riding at MK on a park that I designed. It's from a while back but worth a look.
There is also one from our girls westbeach team trip to slovenia in Feb last year. Have a gander! Whitesnake soundtrack, banging! There is also a article in The Reason that covers this trip too which I have a couple of shots in so make sure you get hold of that!
I'm looking to do a couple more comps, make some more edits and shoot some more photos in the next couple of months so keep your eyes peeled!
