HIGH 5 TOUR 2011

This year Burton Snowboards are back with another High5 Tour competition. Once again we will
be travelling the country this coming autumn. We will be hitting up the UK’s six indoor snow slopes
and bringing with it 3 all new features and 2 of last years with some slight modifications, for both
the local riders and park crews to get creative with.

The comp is an open jam slopestyle with a practice, qualifiers and a “two run, best run counts”
final. Once again with the ever-growing increase in younger riders attending British events the
categories will again be split into kids boys/girls, youth boys/girls and senior mens/women. Prizes
and swag will be up for grabs for the top three winners in each.
Remember the battle won’t just be out on the slope but behind the scenes too, as the country’s top
shapers will be going head to head once again to build the best park with the given features. All
this years features are adaptable to a number of different possible variations and are completely
unique like nothing else in the UK at this moment in time. Each slope will also have to create a
‘one off’ feature (of their choice) at each leg of the tour. Will anyone take the notorious Milton
Keynes shapers title? The builders are in with the chance to win the coveted Golden Shovel
Award and a trip to Avoriaz with Rude Chalets and the slope will also get to keep two of this year’s
features.

There is a rider judged element to the contest, this year the riders will be voting online at
Gonzilla.tv. The Voting will go LIVE on the 2nd December and will be open for 1 week. This gives
riders a chance to watch all the High5 edits from each event before voting for their favourite slope.
So be it you where there or not you can still have your say. We will be asking everyone to judge on
the following:

? Fun ? Creativity ? Experience ? Ride Ability ? Stoke

So if you didn’t make it to last year High 5 and heard how great a snowboarding comp it was then
get down to your local slope remember that its open to all ages and FREE to enter. All you have to
do is pay for your slope time. The emphasis on the evening events will be all about FUN and will
have something for everyone.

Registration opens 1 hour before the event kicks off. We recommend you pre book your slope time
or head down early to save disappointment on the night. Every fridge in the UK is keen to get their
hands on the title of “Best Park In Britain” and the dates are as follows:
