Friday 19th March sees Winter Sessions present their last major event of their tour and are proud to announce a storming line up led by the infamous masters of mash-up The Nextmen. |

Also featuring on the line up are DJ Perplex (Australian DMC Champion 07, 08 & 09), the electronically plugged Bosch Stacey and C-Soul – the brainchild of Brighton?s own Magnus Asberg featuring live sax and vocals from Jonny Tarr.
So unless you have fallen lifeless somewhere through the cracks you?ve more than likely witnessed Cambridge come Londoners, The Nextmen. These guys have had countless top 40 hits and commonplace on the international festival circuit. Fusing beats they love, be it dancehall, drum’n’bass, instrumental and actual hip hop, soul, funk, dubstep, indie, leftfield, ambient or pop, the music mash-up is something Baloo and Search always strive to achieve, weaving their way on 4 turntables with mastery and abandon, laced with their own sought after edits, bootlegs and specials.
The Nextmen have had countless top 40 hits and are commonplace on the international festival circuit. This event will be the climax party of the Tour before the Winter Sessions Weekender lands in Chamonix in April – dates that cannot be missed!
Winter Sessions is the crème de la crème of good times party mash up. The line up?s so far have featured some of the best emerging talent from the dance music scene crossing all genres from UK hip hop, grime, drum and bass, techno, electro and minimal house beginning to cement their reputation for showcasing rising underground talent wrapped up in an „anything goes? atmosphere.
After the massive success of this year?s tour, the World Sessions crew launch their inaugural two day Alpine music and snowsports weekender this April 16th and 17th in the heart of Chamonix - Europe’s most loved extreme snow resort. The Winter Sessions Weekender is a two-day explosion of eclectic boutique events spanning the valley?s best loved locations and venues including mountain top DJ gigs and BBQ’s on the stunning Brevent & Les Grand Montets. The two day spring snow celebrations will also offer up the best daytime entertainment including epic board and rail shows alongside the finest Winter Sessions evening line ups from après ski entertainment to concerts and after-parties. The schedule of events supported by the Chamonix Tourist Office and Compagnie du Mont Blanc is the first of its kind in Chamonix history.
Kicking off the evening proceedings on Friday 16th April with a crazy good times party featuring an international line up of in demand party starters swiftly followed up with lashings of Winter Sessions mayhem on Saturday 17th April at Le Podium with the Trash Black Tie Ball. Expect the unexpected with a mysterious tour of debauchery and decadence on the senses. As always the Winter Sessions crew will be bringing to town some very special after-parties and host crews at Chamonix?s best loved venues. “A music festival in the Alps? Yes please.
