The BRITS Snow & Music Festival, Laax, Switzerland 18th – 25th March
With just over four weeks until The BRITS Snow & Music Festival kicks off for another year of world class competition Dare 2b are showing their commitment to developing the UK talent ahead of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics by bringing us the Dare 2b British Halfpipe Championships. Dare 2b have also recently signed up three times British Halfpipe Champion James Machon, who will be heading to Laax to defend his British crown for an unprecedented fourth time, you wouldn’t bet against him! |

Last year saw an outstanding display of world-class halfpipe riding with Olympians Ben Kilner and Dan Wakeham raising the bar in the men’s snowboard final and Dare 2b’s James Machon and Emma Lonsdale setting the pace for the freeskiers. Taking place on Laax’s pristine and perfectly shaped 20ft superpipe the Dare 2b British Halfpipe Championships will attract the UK’s elite as they battle it out for the coveted British title. With the likes of Lewis Courier-Jones fresh from winning the Halfpipe Rookie Fest and Katie Summerhayes coming fifth overall in halfpipe at the Junior Winter Olympics, will we see the groms coming through and showing The BRITS veterans how it’s done…?
The Dare 2b British Freeski Championships will kick the week off in style on Tuesday 20th March with the snowboarders stepping up on Wednesday 21st. Off the mountain the hills will be alive with the sound of grimy base lines and soulful beats as Dare 2b welcome to The BRITS one of the UK's hottest live dance bands, Dr Meaker, plus a jaw dropping live AV set from the Detective of Perspective, DJ Cheeba for a Live Music Night that will blow your socks off.

We told you we’d bring a night of live music to remember and we weren’t lying as six piece live dance band Dr Meaker and Ninja Tune's legendary Solid Steel resident DJ Cheeba are set to storm the stage at The BRITS Snow & Music Festival, Laax 18th – 25th March 2012.
