500 snow-lovers were truly stoked up for winter in the freezing November air, thanks to an incredible display of riding from some of the top names in the UK Snowsports, upon an incredible purpose-built London-themed structure in Old Street’s Red Market.
With 24 skiers and riders lined up for the jam, the features included a bus stop, rails, a post box and a telephone booth in one of the raddest street setups we think we’ve ever seen – all thanks to The Snow Centre’s park crew and 50-tonnes of real snow!

With spot prizes handed out throughout the hour jam session, the riders were whittled down to battle it out in a head-to-head final. Sparrow Knox grabbed the top spot for the snowboarders, with a clean frontside 270 to switch boardslide on the rail, finished off with a tap on the red post box. Stoked on his win, Sparrow said: “I just like to ride, we were all here as mates and I totally didn’t expect to win. It was a great format and a mad set-up.”

Alongside Knox, Jamie Trinder’s 50:50 frontflip off the London bus shelter stoked up the crowds, and Andy Nudds also grabbed a £100 spot prize. Nuddsy said: “This is by far one of the best events I’ve been to, everyone has been killing it and the crowd were sick. The standard of British riding has been phenomenal tonight.”

On top of this incredible performance from the riders, and an unbeatable setup from the Snow Centre park crew, the commentary from Scott Penman and Christian Stevenson truly lay down the foundations for what was one of the raddest nights London has ever seen. Christian Stevenson couldn’t have summed it up in any better way: “This was the best inner city rail jam I’ve ever had the chance to MC and certainly the first time I’ve ever seen a snowboarder jib a post box!”
