Description

We passed this lake while leaving the Hakuba Valley on our way to Matsumoto City. The pic shows the 'Hairy' Mountains that were so typical of the Japanese resorts we visited. The lower altitude meant that the trees completely covered the moutains making them look like they had stubble. The trees oftem weren't firs either so they looked brown rather than green.
