right...
on December 20th as in.. this sunday, it is World Snowboard Day.
In order to celebrate this, Sno!Zone at MK has the following happening.

World Snowboard Day in the UK!
On Sunday 20th December 2009, the weekend before Christmas, something pretty rad is happening for the first time in the UK.
World Snowboard Day is going to be going off at Milton Keynes SNO!zone, with an evening of freestyle, board demos and hearty christmas banter !
There’s going to be no excuses for not getting out your snowboard for some
pre-christmas shred, as there’s going to be plenty on offer for you to get involved with, between 7 and 10 pm on Sunday the 20th December.
If you’re a snowboarder, of any level*, you’ll be able to benefit from three hours of riding at only £25 – and that just for starters!
There’s going to be a park setup amongst other things, and a healthy amount of christmas cheer, mulled wine and of course plenty of mince pies, to help you keep those energy levels up while you shred.
If picking up some new skills on your snowboard is your thing, then you’ll be able to grab some FREE coaching from the Trickology crew! Freestyle or freeride, if you want to take advantage of the coaches that will be out on the hill, all you have to do is look out for the jackets and ask! It’s free so why not!**
And if that’s not enough, and you fancy testing out some new gear, then the TSA will be on hand to let you choose which board you’d like to find under the tree a few nights later. A comprehensive selection of this winters gear is going to be available for you to take out and ride from the TSA demo tents that will be on offer. That’s FREE too! **
Fear of The Park photos, filming and a charity raffle with Westbeach will also be going off on the night, so keep an eye out for more info on those!
World Snowboard day 2009 – Sunday 20th December, 7 until 10 pm - Milton Keynes SNO!zone. Be there or miss out on being part of the biggest event in the world! Pre-booking is a necessity!

Get on the ringer and book ur tickets with Sno!Zone to secure a place....
not many people knew about sunday but word is gettin round and with limited space on the slope, ya dont wanna be let down!
Hopefully see you guys there!

it was a good night, not as amazing as the description made it out to be, but i had a right old giggle and a good time boarding!
Shame ya couldnt make it! Hopefully see ya after Xmas now... dam christmas shopping haha! xxx |
