I logged on last night and was re-directed to a goneboarding mobile site. It looks good but I personaly prefer the non mobile site as I'm more familiar with it.

Before yesterday, I was able to browse to the non mobile version quite happily with my HTC. I have tried clicking (fingering) the link to view the pages in the non mobile way but try as I might,I cant get the link to re-direct me. The browser doesnt do anything.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong ?

Hi cossie.

Yeah as fatbob said, that's the new mobile site I'm working on. Thanks for the info on what device you're using. I'll look into it as there's no reason why that link to the non-mobile version of the site shouldn't be working.

If anyone else experiences any problems on the mobile version of the site, please let me know what device/browser you're using.

Thanks

Hi Cossie

I've just made some changes to that menu panel, where the link is for the 'non mobile version of the site'.

When you get chance, would you please be able to check if you're now able to link off to the main site via the menu panel (at the bottom) on the mobile version? I would check it here but don't have an HTC to hand at the moment...

Thanks

Hey Starnzy, me again. I tried the mobile version yesterday and main area where the posted reply is black background and really dark grey. Its barely legible mate, esp in a bright room.

Yep sorry about that mate, I'm just making some changes to that today so make it much cleaner, more readable, and easier to identify unread posts etc.

Cheers for the heads up though...

Its looking really good Starnzy. I'm using it more and more now.

It's really easy to use and I can navigate it easily - even with my chubby digits.

I coudln't find the "Post Alerts" yet though, was that something youre still working on ? (or could I need some new specs )

Thanks for the feedback mate, good to hear.
I've not yet done the Post Alerts section, but it's on my ToDo list

Cheers...

Quick update

- You can now enable & disable post alerts for any thread via the link at the top of each thread page.

- I've also added detection for high dpi devices (such as the Retina display on the iPhone4), so the (very few) graphics that are used on the mobile site (logo and various icons), will be rendered at a much higher resolution if your device supports it.

any chance you could add a 'mark all as read' option for the mobile site? just discovered it on my phone, but dont like having to read through everything!

Leave it with me... There are a number of little features that I haven't yet got round to implementing so these bits will be gradually added over the coming days/weeks.

Thanks
