#1  Which bindings to pair with the new Atomic Hatchet?  Posted 16/08/2010 @ 21:04
Going to treat myself to the new Atomic Hatchet which I just found on sale today. My first pair of bindings (Flows ) fell to pieces after half a day so I was thinking about a pair of Union's as I hear they are nigh on indestructable.

Anyhoo, would this be a good pairing? Looking for something not too stiff but don't really have a clue when it comes to bindings...as shown by my purchase of a pair of Flows. 6ft tall, 15 stone, size 11 feet, stick almost exclusively to the freeride just now but looking to have a go in the park this winter.

Any other bindings I should be looking at? Burton's, Ride's etc. Looking to spend under £200.

Also I've spotted the new Hatchet for £260. Do you reckon this is a decent price or will it come down in the run up to winter.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers

In reply to post #1 ...
I'm guessing with the Hatchet your looking to be hitting jumps and stomping rails?

I've been looking at The Union Force bindings for myself as a more All Mountain binding and they seem to come highly recommended by anyone who's got them in their set-up. Mid-flex, comfortable, full on with the steeze and like you mention seem to last till the end of time.

Prices Yo-yo a little from looking at the net but your looking at about £170-£180 for the 2010-2011.

Hope this helps.
What I lack in skill I make up for in enthusiasm and gratitude.
