My thoughts too. Unfortunately.
I was planning a week away before Christmas but it will have to be a last second thing now if at all.
Fingers crossed as I had to abandon my two usual late trips to Cham last year due to poor conditions.

My buddies in Terrace have informed me that Shames Mountain has had to delay their opening by a week. They have had too MUCH snow - 2.5 metres came down all at once and they can't get the lodge dug out and the lifts running in time!

Dunno, I was in hintertux last week and I can't remember the last time the mountains were so brown...
I hear it started dumping yesterday thank God, but it's going to take a while to build a decent base... I don't think this is going to be a Champagne year..

Well after booking my first holiday of 2012 last week I've already had my eye on the webcams.
Off to Soll in the SkiWelz area of Austria Mid January! And I'm pleased to say that it's started snowing already! :D Some snow the other afternoon and now it seems fairly constant today! All the snow cannons are blowing too! :D
Can't wait to get out there! Hope it keeps falling untill then though!
This isn't snowboarding....this is falling...WITH STYLE!
