OK, my burton johan is old, tatty and seen better days, but I love riding it.

Has anyone suggestions on what I might replace it with?

Obviously looking for a board that rides like the johan.

Now for something hopefully a bit more helpful than the "I Hate Burton" sh*te...

I'm in a similar dilemma.
I would like to replace my Frontier.

You could try to find a nice Frontier or Republik on eBay (Newer versions of the Johan) or a K2 Recon Riser.

Or, go for a new board.

The boards that keep coming up are Donek Incline, Prior MFR and various Nideckers.
I'd also think about checking out a Salomon Burner
Getting a test ride on a Donek or a Prior is proving difficult...
It's all going downhill.......

I've already posted something about my dislike of Burton once today so i'll save you the rant and suffice with all of the burton equipment i've ever seen or used has fallen apart (don't worry i won't post about this again). Salomon have been looking better over the past two years and forum were great though i haven't ridden any of their boards since they were bought out. I'd take a look at Palmer if you're looking for a replacement.

If you want to stay with burton test ride a Supermodel X, other brands maybe a Rome Anthem or Never Summer Titan or a Premier F1-R if you want to try a rocker
