First time poster, please be nice :-D

I'm in a bit of a dilemma! I'm off to Canada in a few weeks, for a week. I have two boards, a 2009 K2 Zeppelin and a Bataleon Riot from about 2012.

The Riot is a great fun board for park and snowdome stuff but it's hopeless in the steep and deep so I'm thinking of taking the Zeppelin with me instead.

I am wondering if there is any good reason to look at something new. Have things moved on that much since I got the Zeppelin? Would I be likely to get anything better without spending a fortune? The Zeppelin was/is a great board for its time and is still in pretty good condition but I've kinda lost touch with what's going on with board tech so reaching out for some advice!

I'm an intermediate to advanced rider and prefer all mountain/freeride/steep and deep to the park stuff. Any tips or advice very much gratefully received :-D
